Monte Isola is the biggest island of the European lakes and it is situated in the centre of the lake Iseo.
La Stallina is a chalet with three apartments, each with private and separated entrance and terrace.
It is a typical rural house recently renovated (2009) reachable by boat (taxi) at the private wharf and then on foot (100 metres uphill, with 50 steps on a path).
The attic can host 4 people and is composed of a living room with sofa bed, kitchenette, double bedroom, bathroom and private terrace.
The huge garden by the lake is available to guests, and grants private access to the lake (different from the wharf where you arrive by taxi boat).
La Stallina is an evocative house, ideal for those who prefer relax, walking in the nature and hiking.
You have to consider that the accomodation is only reachable on foot, and guests have to walk along a private path uphill (with steps).
The main village is at walking distance (10-15 minutes through the woods). There you can find everything you need for the shopping, and home delivery is commonly available for free; in the centre there is also a bus stop for a tour of the island.
The pubblic ferry boat stop is just 300 metres away from the house (plan path, tickets sold onboard): from there you can reach Sulzano or have a tour around the island.
The house is also equipped with some bikes, available for guests.
On the island is forbidden to take or use cars.
On the island it is not permitted circulate by car, therefore the tourists can move using the bus that connects all the fractions, reading a bicycle, taking long and relaxing walks in shore to the lake or excursions on the mountain looking for suggestive and panoramic places.
